These cookies are slightly sweet like a shortbread and very buttery- delicious. It is a small circular biscuit eaten across the Eastern world to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and Easter. It is covered with powdered sugar and can be stuffed with ‘agameya, Turkish-Delight/ Malban, walnuts, pistachios, or dates, or simply served plain.
